I got to spend a week with a lot of family - Mom, Dad, and Jake drove out to Idaho from Nebraska. I flew up to Utah and spent a day with Rachael and Dan. Then the three of us drove up to Idaho. Boy did we have some fun! We got crazy with Rach's computer creating wacky pictures and voices. In Idaho we visited the Rexburg Temple - beautiful!
We had some adventure and fun while in Idaho. Saturday was the family reunion. It was different than in the past but still fun. We visited, played games (including Bocce Ball and dice), ate delicious food (Monster Cookies included!), and took pictures. They had all the siblings get together, the second generation of grandkids, and third generation of great-grandkids. There were obviously a lot of folks missing, but at least we got something.
Uncle Rick really hooked us up this trip! We rode quads and went white water rafting! Both were so much fun we wanted to spend several days doing them each again :) Mom, Rick, and Brenda drove along the river and stopped to take pictures from up above. Dan and Rach bought a waterproof camera and we took it on the river with us. We got some great pictures too! Unfortunately the camera drowned in the river and we don't have the proof of Dan and Rach making it through the Big Kahuna without capsizing their kayak.
The girls went to see "Mama Mia" at the theater while the guys went fishing. We loved the movie so much we bought Mom the soundtrack for her birthday. Yea for fun music! You should have seen Mom, Jane, Rachael, and me dancing around Jane's house and singing along to the cd full blast :) What a sight!
Mom, Dad, Jake, and I were lucky enough to camp out in various trailers while in Idaho. We also played Canasta, Wii, and made S'mores over the "campfire". Such fun!
When Rach, Dan, and I went back to UT, we kayaked down the Provo River. It was a perfect day for it! We met some cool people on the river.
What a perfect trip to end my summer vacation. Am I ready to go back to work in a week? Hardly! Maybe never. Perhaps I should plan another excursion in the upcoming weeks...

Wonderful post and pictures. Can we do it again? Too bad the fun has to end so soon.
