She's Two!
Today our sweet Ellie turned two! We were so lucky to spend the long weekend at Nana and Papa's house. The entire Dea family was together for the weekend, which made it even more special! Here's our weekend:
Ellie and Nana
Birthday gift from Nana and Papa: a red wagon! Ellie & Gavin had such a great time in it...
especially when Uncle Jake pulled them behind his riding lawn mower, Lazarus.
Daddy & Hunter, hanging out on the porch
We took Ellie to see the baby ducks and chicks.
Cousins in jammies
Ellie looking cute during the impromptu birthday dance party in the living room
Steve getting things set up for lunch
Jake: The master of the bbq
Birthday lunch
Cute Hunter
Me with my two favorite babies in the whole world.
And some fun present-opening shots:
Ellie loved her presents!
And the cake...
"I'm 2!"
Ready for the pool
Pretty much, we had an awesomely fun weekend! What a great second birthday for our sweet Ellie :)

Family Fun
My sister Rachael and her family are living with our parents for 12 weeks while her husband completes his final internship. Since they live in Henderson, NV and we aren't able to spend lots of time together, it has been a blast being able to get together every other weekend or so. We're so very lucky that our kids all get to be cousins and friends.
One Saturday, we ran a 5K along with my sisters and their husbands.
And after a full day of the race, my nephew Owen's first birthday party (which somehow I have no pictures of! Guess my sister needs to send me the cute rocket ship photos...hint hint...) and playing with cousins, we let the kids get their energy out at the park. What a perfect long weekend with great weather and a fun family!
Henry Max (5), Gavin (almost 3), Ellie (almost 2), and Alice (2 1/2)
Friends...usually :)
We love Nana's iPad and iPhone

And here's something kinda fun...
On the left is Ellie (almost 2) wearing her Nana's glasses. On the right is me (2-yrs-old) wearing my grandma's glasses. Mini-Me...
One Saturday, we ran a 5K along with my sisters and their husbands.
Yes, we all got matchy-matchy shirts for the occasion :)
And oh-holy-COW was it a cold morning! But these pictures from both before and after the race show that we had a great time anyway.
