My friend Sarah and I used to take a yearly trip to San Diego - then she moved to UT for grad school. Well, she just graduated, and though it's been two years since we've been, last week we went again!
We spent the first day there at the beach - we had fun posing, building a sandcastle, and playing in the waves. *sigh* I love the beach...
Our second day there was spent at SeaWorld - my first time!
We held starfish, massive snails, petted stingrays, and took a photo-op after going below-ground and seeing the disgusting eels...not our favorite part of SeaWorld...
As far as shows went, we saw them all :) Shamu was pretty impressive; the dolphins were fun; my very favorite was the sea lions. So cute and funny! We saw polar bears, glow-in-the-dark fish, and rode a helicopter "roller-coaster" type of ride in the Arctic. It was a good day.
