Spencer's Baby Blessing

Spencer Joseph Thompson was blessed at home last weekend. It was a perfect day with family.

Spencer's Uncle Dan and Papa Dea helped Daddy give him a special priesthood blessing.

The entire day went off without a hitch! After discovering that the baby blessing outfit we'd planned to use wasn't going to work, Rachael was kind enough to loan us the outfit all three of her boys were blessed in. 

Everyone arrived to the house within minutes of each other. The babies were nursed and rested (or so we thought) for the blessing. Steve gave Spencer a simple and beautiful baby blessing. As the photos show, Spencer wasn't particularly thrilled with taking pictures afterward.

We enjoyed a luncheon of taco salad and Texas sheet cake after the blessing and before church at 2 PM.  We are super appreciative of family who were willing and able to travel to be present for such a special moment in our little guy's life!
