Halloween Fun at the Y & Trunk or Treat

We participated in several Halloween parties this year. The first one was just the girls. At our YMCA, they had a party with a bunch of activities just perfect for a four-year-old: cake and cupcake walks, games where the children tossed balls and rings, bowling with pumpkins, a bounce house, a haunted house, and photo ops. Ellie won the cake walk, the cupcake walk, and basically every other game she tried! This party whetted her appetite for the parties still to come...

Next up was our ward trunk or treat and carnival. We went as Mario and gang:

 Mario

 Luigi

 Princess Peach

 Koopa

Nintendo controller

The kids had fun at the carnival. It gets more and more fun every year they're just a bit older. Ellie was all over the place, putting herself in lines and waiting her turn. Hunter followed along obediently...until something else grabbed his attention, and suddenly he was out of line and interested in something else.

As the first two Halloween events, the kids were excited for the others yet to come!
