Other July Moments

July has been full of lots of fun moments. Here are a few:

We took full advantage of free Chick-Fil-A day  - I spent some time working on our costumes (and even made masks for the sister missionaries, who were having dinner with us that night). I thought they turned out pretty cute. We can't pass up free dinner at one of our favorite places!

Right after dinner, the kids headed into the play place...where Ellie promptly hurried up the stairs, only to fall and cut her lip right open with her teeth. After cleaning up the blood, we were rewarded with free ice cream cones all around. We love Chick-Fil-A :)

The library summer reading program theme was Superheroes; so we got to do a superhero cape craft at the library the other day.

Last week, Dallas had surgery to get tubes put in his ears. Poor little guy has the same fluid/lack of drainage issues Hunter struggled with.

After surgery

He's doing well now! He hadn't slept on his back for weeks prior to surgery, but he hasn't had any problems since.

The kids made masks at book club last week. Hunter has worn his pretty much every day since then. He keeps it hung on his closet door when he's not wearing it.

Ellie is taking karate. She loves it! The other day she even won the "Sensei Says" game during class.
