Thompson Family Reunion

This is the Thompson family - or at least everyone that made it to the reunion. 

The Thompson family has a family reunion every other year. This year it was in Alberta, Canada. Steve is the 9th of 10 children - all of his siblings are married with children. His parents have 39 grandchildren. So. Family reunions are pretty big :)

We took two days to drive to Cardston, Alberta at the end of July. Ellie was a trooper! She took two days to recover from the car ride. But we learned how to make changes to help make the trip easier on her, so it was a good experience.

For the family reunion, there was only one family missing. So. There were a LOT of people there :) Since we don't make it to Canada on a regular basis, family reunions give us an excuse to plan a trip and visit family!

This September, Steve's parents will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary! In their honor, we had a celebration program. At the end, we took photos with Grandma and Grandpa Thompson.

 The last day of the reunion, we had family pictures taken.
