Our Easter

Guess what. We never dyed Easter eggs this year. *gasp*

Somehow it just never happened. But. We did LOTS of other wonderful things this year...

We visited the Easter Bunny at Bass Pro Shops. The kids were over-the-moon once we got close enough to actually see him. We were glad to go with friends to keep us company in the super long line. And the kids also loved the bookmark craft after.

Soon  after our visit to see the Easter Bunny, we headed out of town to spend the weekend with family in Nebraska! It was the best Easter weekend. Some of the highlights:

My sister Joni brought the stuff for the kids to do a treat/craft: candy Easter bunnies on graham crackers. Super cute, super easy, super tasty.

There was also a really fun Paw Patrol birthday party for my nephew Owen's 2nd birthday - but I have no pictures of it! The kids played some fun games and we ate hot dogs and cupcakes. It was so fun to be there with all of our cousins!

The Easter bunny visited - Hunter acted like it was Christmas morning when he finally noticed his Easter basket. It was pretty classic.

Poor Dallas fell down the stairs our first morning at Nana and Papa's - he looks like he's been in a fight :)

One of our traditions is to make resurrection rolls on Easter Sunday morning. We've done it the  last three years in a row, so the kids remember pretty well what everything stands for. Plus, they taste delicious.

The Easter Bunny hid a bunch of eggs in Nana and Papa's backyard for the 10 grandkids to find. There were a few special surprises as well: a whole Kit Kat bar for each kid; as well as an egg with a star on it with candy and a $1 bill inside!

And because everyone cleans up so well, here are some Easter Sunday dress/white shirts and tie pictures of the fam.

I love these three! These boys in white shirts and ties...adorable on toddlers :)

Happy Easter!!
