On January 11, our baby boy turned 1! I'm still reeling. Not sure how that happened so quickly. It's amazing how days sometimes go by so slowly, but the year was super speedy.
For Hunter's first birthday, we had an UNO theme. I made a few decorations from UNO cards and his cake and smash cake were UNO cards as well.
For the party, Grandma Thompson was visiting from Cardston, Alberta Canada; Nana and Papa Dea from Auburn, Nebraska; and Rachael, Gavin, and Owen DeAngelo from Auburn, Nebraska. We had lunch, opened presents, and had cake and ice cream. The cake was a huge hit...Hunter ate about 2/3 of his smash cake. The taste of the frosting seemed to sooth him after he touched the candle :)
It was a fun day celebrating Hunter's first year of life with family! We love our happy, funny, active little one-year-old :)
