Dea Reunion 2012

Last week was the Dea family reunion. My parents have a time-share, so we got condos in Fairfield Bay, Arkansas for a week of water activities and family fun.

My brother Jake's girlfriend Kenda brought her waterproof digital camera (so cool!) and we took about 1000 pictures :) Crazy, right? So I've been narrowing down exactly what I want to showcase from the trip. Here are some of a bunch of the highlights:

Our Family

Pool-time

Renting a pontoon and spending the afternoon tubing and swimming in the lake
(Everyone got in on the tubing action - even the babies!)
 My sister Rachael and me

My brother Jake and his girlfriend Kenda

My sister Joni, her husband Henry, and three of their kids - Nora, Maggie, and Henry

 Steve and me

My sister Rachael and her husband Dan

My dad - captain of the ship

Crazy nieces Nora and Maggie

Joni and me tubing

 Steve and me

Later we brought the babies aboard
Ellie loved it! She walked all over the boat like she owned the place.

She and her cousin Alice stood gazing out over the water much of the time.

And our favorite picture of the entire week - is this cute or what??

We aren't sure how Ellie felt about tubing. She didn't really smile - but she never cried either. I take that as a good sign :)

Other things we did:
We let Nana and Papa babysit - a lot. Especially first thing in the morning :)

We got pedicures and lunch for our girls' day.

We celebrated birthdays - both Jake and Dan had birthdays last week.

We held and cuddled the newest baby in the family - Owen. He is just two months old.

 The girls crafted.

Steve got a fishing license and he went nearly every day we were there - Henry got one as well and they took three of his kids fishing with them. I even got to go with Steve one morning.

The whole family

So I know I've left out a lot; but you get an idea of the fun we had. Mostly we just love being together to play, eat, and be together. Can't wait for the next reunion!

So jealous! Especially about that picture where you were tossing your baby into the pool. My little one is TERRIFIED of the pool and any other body of water besides what's in our bathtub.
