Keeping it Real - January Edition

Week 1: We spent New Year's in Branson with my whole family. Four days at the condo playing games, cousins playing together, swimming in the pool, pedicures for the girls, lots of football-watching for the guys...and then the sickness came. It started with my brother Jake. Then a few others got it. We thought we were so lucky to escape it all...until the next week :/ Ellie started primary! She loves being a Sunbeam.

Dallas' first time swimming - he loved it! Or at least, he tolerated it, wearing his indifferent expression most of the time.

 The whole Dea Family

First day of primary! We have a Sunbeam.

Week 2: Happy birthday to me! Happy second birthday to Hunter! And the stomach flu for Ellie...and Hunter...and Steve. Ick! By Friday, the temperature outside was 50 degrees and everyone was feeling better. We were able to air out the house and do laundry, sanitizing, and cleaning to get rid of the yucky.

 Dinner and birthday brownies

Happy 2nd Birthday Hunter!!
 A train birthday

I loved how the cake turned out! Huge thanks to Steve for helping with this one.

Ellie was so sad to miss the party - she was so sick and sleeping in our bed during the party. So, we don't have any pictures of her. She never even got a taste of birthday cake :( Maybe next year!

Week 3: More sick - this time, runny noses, congestion, ear infections, and coughs. Poor Hunter hasn't been to church since he threw up in nursery on his birthday (January 11). Steve and I enjoyed two date nights to IKEA this month. Dallas started using the exersaucer and high chair! All he does in the high chair is sit with us at meals...and sleep occasionally. He also started rolling over consistently. Mobile baby!

Happy baby! Glad to be standing up.

So tired - he fell right asleep in his high chair. I just love the little folded hands :)

Week 4: I worked feverishly for the last two weeks of January to finish our family photo book and get it ordered on Shutterfly. Boy am I glad that's done! Dallas began eating cereal on the 31st - my baby is four months old! Where did that time go??
